Sooner Centurions

Founded in 2023, the Sooner Centurion Economic Development Council (SCEDC) is a joint effort of Cleveland County, the City of Norman, Moore Norman Technology Center, the University of Oklahoma, and private-sector business, i.e., Sooner Centurions throughout Cleveland County. Our mission is to provide private-sector leadership and funding for strategic initiatives that facilitate regional collaborative partnerships. Regional collaboration among business, government, nonprofit, and philanthropy sectors fosters alignment, which enables communities across the region to leverage a wide range of resources, creating strategic advantages and economic opportunities and elevating the quality of place for all Cleveland County citizens.
